Think of Strength & Conditioning as being ‘prehab’ or pre conditioning rather than ‘rehab’. Read the article by Mark Neames published in Tri News.
A Sample Conditioning Session:
After a warm up try the following exercises in the sequence below for a good whole body work out.
1.Treadmills, Press ups, Squat Jumps, Plank.
2.Squat Thrusts, Bench Dips, Shuttle runs, Back Extension (chest raise)
Begin with 20 to 30 seconds effort on each exercise with a 30 second recovery between each exercise with a 2-3 minute recovery between each set.
Ensure you are familiar with how to perform the exercises correctly before doing them, it’s quality not quantity; do not rush them!
Remember to stretch after
